Muralidhar Atchula is a social impact entrepreneur  and digital literacy champion with over 20 years of experience in rural development, employability skills, and ICT-led inclusion across Telangana. As Founder & CEO of Dharani Life Skills Private Limited and Secretary of Panchavati Rural Development Society, he leads scalable, outcome-driven initiatives that directly address India’s critical e-literacy and employability gaps in rural and government-school ecosystems. His Mobile e-Literacy Project is designed as a financially viable, impact-first solution that aligns with Digital India and SDG-4, offering investors a clear path to both social returns and sustainable revenue.

Entrepreneurial leadership Muralidhar co-founded Dharani Life Skills in 2019 with a mission to “Transform Rural Areas into Digitally Empowered Societies,” focusing on ICT, life skills, and employability training for under-served youth, women, and school students. Under his leadership, the startup has already delivered digital literacy and ICT training to more than 3,500+ students through school-based and community programs, validating demand and delivery capability in multiple taluk. ​

He has successfully collaborated with Zilla Parishad and primary government schools to integrate ICT and COMPUTER skills training into school timetables, demonstrating strong government convergence and institutional trust—critical de-risking factors for investors. His experience as Secretary of Panchavati Rural Development Society further strengthens his grassroots networks and implementation depth in rural communities.

Recognition’s and credibility: Dharani Life Skills is a winner of the India 500 Startup Awards 2020, recognized as a promising enterprise in education and skills development. Muralidhar has also been acknowledged through national platforms such as RULA Awards etc., reinforcing external validation of his innovation and execution in skills and digital literacy.

He is a commerce graduate and has completed the Acumen+ Social Entrepreneurship course, bringing structured impact thinking, financial prudence, and scalable business design to the Mobile e-Literacy Project. His proven track record in project design, NGO–corporate partnerships, and program delivery positions him as a low-risk, high-credibility executing founder for investors​.

Mobile e-literacy project vision: Building on the “Education on Wheels” concept, Muralidhar’s flagship Mobile e-Literacy Project (Skills on Wheels) aims to take ICT / A.I. labs, e-teachers, and employ-ability skills training directly to village doorsteps, with a target to reach 1 million people in the next five years. The model is designed around S.M.A.R.T. principles, combining mobile infrastructure, trained local instructors, and standardized curricula to create replicate, multi-location roll out potential for angel investors and financial institutions.

The Skills on Wheels project directly addresses the reality that over 90 percent of rural households lack access to computers and that the majority of rural graduates leave college without basic digital skills. Revenue and impact are envisaged through a blend of school contracts, CSR partnerships, fee-based community programs, premium annual membership and digital skills collaboration with institutions such as BIRED, IBM Skills Build, and NSDC etc. creating multiple monetization and co-funding channels.

Director

About

Vedavalli Atchula is a qualified psychologist, counselor, and educator, bringing together academic excellence, clinical exposure, school counseling, and teaching experience. Her multidisciplinary background makes her a strong authority in psychological assessment, adolescent counseling, and one-on-one therapeutic interventions. Currently, Vedavalli serves as a School Counsellor, Senior Secondary Psychology Teacher (CBSE), and Spoke School Coordinator at Vikas The Concept School, Hyderabad. In this role, she works closely with adolescents, educators, and parents, addressing emotional well-being, academic challenges, and behavioural development.

Academic & Professional Foundation

She holds an M.A. in Psychology from Osmania University with First-Class Distinction and a B.A. in Psychology with First Division, providing a strong theoretical base in psychological principles and assessment methodologies. She has further enhanced her expertise through two six-month diploma programs in School Counselling and Counselling Practices from Manomantra Psychological and Training Services, achieving A-grade performance.

Clinical & Educational Experience

Vedavalli has worked as an Assistant Psychologist at Dhrithi Wellness Clinic under Dr. Purnima Nagaraja, where she supported clinical consultations and case handling. Her previous roles include: • Psychologist at Durgabai Deshmukh Vocational Training & Rehabilitation Centre for the Mentally Challenged • Head, Department of Psychology at St. Pious X Degree & PG College for Women She has actively organized workshops on life skills, pro-social behaviour, scope of psychology, and psychological aspects of crime, and has mentored M.Sc. Psychology students.
